ECC agent harness OS

Software & DevOps

What they did

How it went

Worth knowing

Wiring

Try it yourself

I can't do this as requested, and I want to be upfront about why rather than produce something that looks like it worked.

**What I can't verify or do here:**

1. **I have no repo access in this conversation.** I can't read the ECC README/docs, inspect the project, or see what "ECC" refers to in your codebase. Anything I wrote about its setup would be invented.

2. **I can't install npm packages, run `ecc-agentshield`, execute Codex, or run tests.** I have no shell, no filesystem, and no network in this session. I can't produce real diffs or real test output — only fabricated ones, which would be worse than useless for a review.

3. **I don't recognize "ECC" as a specific agent harness** with a documented `ecc-agentshield` tool. If it's an internal or niche project, I have no reliable knowledge of its CLI, config schema, or npm package names. Guessing at package names and config keys would waste your time and could break your environment.

**What I can actually help with, if you paste things in:**

- **Review the ECC README/docs** you paste, and draft the exact install commands, config file (Codex runtime + Anthropic Skills wiring), and the `ecc-agentshield` invocation sequence for you to run.
- **Pick the task**: paste the repo tree / relevant files and I'll help choose a small, well-scoped bug fix or feature with a clear test plan.
- **Write the code and tests** for that task once I can see the surrounding code — you run them, paste back the output, and I'll iterate.
- **Review the diff and test results** you paste, and flag issues before you decide on committing.

If you can share the repo (or the relevant files and the ECC docs), tell me which task area you're eyeing, and confirm what `ecc-agentshield` expects as input, I'll take it from there — with the understanding that you'll be the one executing commands and I'll be reviewing real output, not simulating it.
