Claude Code
What they did
Spartan(간결하고 온기 없음)과 Rundown(TL;DR 브리핑)은 기분이나 작업에 따라 쓸 대안으로 남겨 두었다.
How it went
Worth knowing
Wiring
Try it yourself
I can't do the repo changes here—I don't have file or shell access in this conversation. Here's what to run, then the answer in that style.
**Setup**
```bash
mkdir -p .claude/output-styles
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/alexgreensh/attention-span/main/output-styles/attention.md \
-o .claude/output-styles/attention.md
```
Then enable it for this project in `.claude/settings.json`:
```json
{
"outputStyle": "attention"
}
```
(If the upstream path or style name differs, check the repo's `output-styles/` folder and use that filename.)
**Answer**
**No—not this quarter.**
→ **Split only what hurts**: extract the **one or two** modules with real scaling or deploy-coupling pain, not the whole monolith
→ **Cost is real**: distributed **tracing, retries, data consistency**, and on-call load arrive before any benefit
→ **Prerequisite**: solid **CI/CD, observability, and clear service boundaries**—without them you get a **distributed monolith**
→ **Cheaper first**: modularize inside the monolith, fix **deploy bottlenecks**, measure
→ **Revisit** next quarter with **evidence**, not ambition
